Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates works for a wide range of age groups – over the years I have taught 16 year olds up to 80+ year olds! As each Reformer session is Physio led, it involves clinical Pilates to ensure suitable exercise prescription, measurement of outcome, with special consideration of previous or current musculoskeletal injuries/neurogenic symptoms/past orthopaedic surgeries.
Common reasons for seeking Clinical Pilates:

For women from Peri through to Post Menopause. Designed to increase strength, bone health and balance through resistance training and weight bearing exercises.
Wishing for individualised attention with a bespoke programme.
Your Physio or Doctor have recommended pilates for example to aid the management of lower back pain.
Struggling to get to grips with the Pilates principles in a group setting.
Training balance and manage conditions such as osteoporosis in senior citizens.
Antenatal and Post natal

Every session is led by a Chartered Physiotherapist who has undertaken additionally training in Antenatal and Post natal Reformer so you can feel reassured you are in safe hands.
